Join the Downtown Residents Association, the Pleasant Rock Neighborhood Association, Sioux Empire Paddlers, and Friends of the Big Sioux River for a clean-up event on Saturday, October 10th, from 10 AM to noon. Meet at Lien Park to sign in and receive your trash bags and gloves.

This clean-up will take place both on shore and in the river. The on-shore group will follow the bike path and pick up trash along the riverbank. The in-river volunteers will split into two groups, one heading upstream and another downstream. Eventually, both groups will turn around and meet back at the starting point. Sioux Empire Paddlers will provide canoes to collect the trash, and FBSR will have a limited number of waders available.
